Kidwatching 101
So, in between all the other things we teachers do during the course of a work day, we have to keep track of the kiddos progress. We need to know where they are and where they have been and where they are going! I've learned from lots of greats in the field that kid watching is what this is called. At it's finest, it is a much more significant teacher move than just grading a paper. Its anecdotal record keeping over time...like daily in some cases and 3 times a week when i'm on it dog-gone-it! I have spent quite a few years working through forms and ways to make this work best for me and my setting and now that I am in a Montessori multiage classroom it is uber important that I keep good notes about what my kiddos are up to! My latest options are below. Click on the link and grab it for free!
