I've become a canning fool. I took a canning class a week ago and haven't looked back. Hot pepper jelly, green beans, potatoes, pickles...all in the cupboard waiting to be eaten or given away as gifts. In the meantime I have a small little garden going and I am pouring over books and the internet to learn everything I can about making my garden grow. There is just something about knowing what is in the food I feed my family that makes me happy!
The most important thing to know about canning is that it is not hard! If you have thought about it and shied away...go for it! You can do it!
